There is a little under one week to go before Love Island begins, and we finally have a first look at the 2026 cast.

Next week, 12 Islanders will be heading to the iconic villa for a summer like no other, from love triangles and drama to shady day bed conversations and secret terrace liaisons.
One of the Islanders in the line-up is Angelista, who knows exactly what she does and doesn’t want while in the villa.

Who is Angelista?

Angelista is a nurse from Staffordshire whose main goal is to find love while in the villa.
“I’m not here for drama, I’m non-confrontational,” she said. “It’s entertaining to watch from the sidelines, I just don’t want to be involved in it!”
And Angelista is sure of her flirting game, telling ITV that it’s not too much and is “a nice in the middle”.
While in the villa, Angelista plans to put herself in the position to be seen by the guys so they know she is interested, but she won’t beg for it.
“I’ll be in the mix, 100 per cent,” she explained. “I’m not watching in the back.”

What is Angelista’s ‘type on paper’?
Like some of her fellow Islanders, Angelista is looking for someone “tall, dark and handsome”.
Explaining her type further, Angelista said: “A quietly confident man with nice teeth. Someone that is attentive, someone that is a listener and a doer. You can’t just be listening and not doing! Someone that puts actions behind words and is patient.”
