It feels good to be back, doesn’t it? The first day of Wimbledon 2026 served up a reminder of why it is the greatest tennis tournament on the planet – and we’ve still got the best part of a fortnight to go.

Monday was a difficult day for the Brits. Jack Draper joined Emma Raducanu in pulling out due to injury, while British No.1 Cameron Norrie was among the home hopes to suffer defeat.
Norrie wasn’t the only seeded player to tumble but favourites Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka both made winning starts. Others will hope to follow in their suit as part of today’s schedule.
Every serve, return, slice, and volley will be live on free-to-air TV in what the BBC are billing as their “biggest ever coverage” of the Championships – with every single match from all 18 courts broadcast live.
On top of daily live action on BBC One and BBC Two throughout the fortnight, there will be extensive coverage across BBC iPlayer, red button, and the BBC Sport website.
All the usual Wimbledon favourites will be on hand to talk us through every twist and turn at the tournament, while there are some additions to the line-up of presenters and pundits as well – including Jamie Murray, Andre Agassi, Laura Robson and Genie Bouchard.
There is nothing like the All-England Club and this year’s grass grand slam promises to serve a reminder of why it remains tennis’ greatest stage and most prestigious tournament.
Radio Times brings you all the TV coverage details you need to watch Wimbledon 2026.
