“You’re looking at the finest tank crew in the entire British army.” Kaleidoscope Ent. has revealed the full trailer for a UK World War I action movie called Landship, another jingoistic British war movie about one of the 20th century wars from their past. From the same filmmakers of the other war movies Lancaster Skies, Spitfire Over Berlin, and Battle Over Britain. Set during the 1917 Battle of Passchendaele, a 9-man British MKIV tank crew embarks on a mission to destroy German bunkers. When they become trapped in a shell crater just yards from enemy lines, they must band together to survive against starvation, shellshock, and the enemy. Landship stars Vin Hawke, David Dobson, Matthew Canny, Jack Sherlock, Micky David, Ricky Oakley, Daniel Cornish, and Sam Dowdy. Far from being the movie focused on a tank crew, it’s a unique perspective on The Great War fights. Alas doesn’t look like anything to write home about.
Here’s the official UK trailer (+ poster) for Callum Burn’s movie Landship, direct from YouTube:

For three years the Great War has been waging, and two armies find themselves entrenched along the 400-mile Western Front. At the start of a pivotal allied offensive to break the stalemate, the 9-man crew of a British MKIV Tank set out to destroy a series of heavily defended German bunkers. Advancing across no-man’s-land under intense enemy fire, all seems lost when the tank becomes trapped in a giant shell crater, within only a few yards of enemy lines. However, determined not to perish amongst the fetid mud and poison smog of the battlefield, the soldiers refuse to resign themselves to their fate. Instead, the men rally together to fight for survival against starvation, shellshock & relentless gunfire. Landship is directed by British filmmaker Callum Burn, director of the films Lancaster Skies, Spitfire Over Berlin, and Battle Over Britain previously. The screenplay is by and produced by Andrew Burn & Callum Burn. Kaleidoscope Ent. debuts Burn’s Landship movie in UK cinemas on June 26th, 2026 this summer. No US date is set yet.
