Kelly Reilly brings Beth Dutton back to the small screen in Dutton Ranch, and if she gets her way, we might see more Yellowstone cast members making the jump over to the new show.

After Beth and Rip enjoyed a relatively happy and satisfying ending in Yellowstone season 5, many fans thought they’d seen the last of the cowboy king and queen.
However, Taylor Sheridan cooked up a new story for the two lovebirds and their adopted son, Carter. That’s great news for us, as it means we get more of that trademark Yellowstone chaos as Beth and Rip try to start a new life away from Montana.
Still, while Reilly, Cole Hauser, and Finn Little are familiar faces among the Dutton Ranch cast, and the general vibe of the series is incredibly close to the original show, there’s not a lot else that Yellowstone fans will recognise.
So, in an exclusive interview with Radio Times, we asked Kelly Reilly if she would want to shake things up at all and add any Yellowstone actors to future episodes of Dutton Ranch.
“I honestly would love to bring some of the Yellowstone gang back,” she said. “Actors like Ryan Bingham (who played Walker) and Jen Landon – I’d love Teeter to come back.
“There are a few members of the Yellowstone cast that I just think were brilliant actors, and I would love to have them come and help us out at Dutton Ranch. That would be a dream.”
Thankfully, Reilly has a couple of new additions to the Yellowstone family to keep her on her toes. Ed Harris and Annette Bening are the latest big names to work within the cowboy kingdom, but Reilly does have one dream for the future of her show.
“I’d love to get a couple episodes of Beth reuniting with her brother, with Kayce (Luke Grimes) who’s doing Marshals,” she added. “I think that would be a nice crossover, to see them catch up on each other’s lives. They have both changed tremendously.
“But as far as other actors, I think I’ve got my hands full with Ed and Annette, honestly… I just hope they stay around.”

Dutton Ranch’s future is unclear as things stand. After the nine-episode first season, there may well be a second instalment if the show is as successful as many predict it will be – especially based on past viewing figures for Yellowstone titles on Paramount+.
Indeed, Marshals was greenlit for a second season after a record-breaking debut on the platform, and by the sounds of it, Luke Grimes is on board for the long haul.
Surely, at some point, then, we will see the lives of Beth and Kayce intersect once more…
Dutton Ranch airs on Paramount+ on Fridays.
