7 EastEnders spoilers for next week
1. Denise Fox discloses her blood cancer diagnosis

Following a dramatic wedding ceremony, Walford gather for the reception. Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) clocks one notable absence – Denise.
She’s at the hospital, hearing more details about her acute myeloid leukaemia diagnosis. Returning home, she retreats to Fox & Hair for a moment of contemplation.
Yolande finds her and the two head back to No. 27 for a heart-to-heart, with Denise breaking down in tears. Things take a worrying turn when the consultant calls and summons her straight back to Walford General for immediate treatment.

However, with another situation developing with Chelsea, she rushes out and Yolande is forced to cover when questions are raised about her earlier whereabouts.
The following day, Denise realises that the time has come to tell Jack about her illness.
2. Ian Beale faces losing everything

With a drunken Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) spurting insults towards her former daughter-in-law Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins), Ian decides to drive her home. However, things soon take a horrific turn for the worse…
They arrive back to the Square in good spirits, and they celebrate his recent council win, unaware of what is unfolding. Someone knocks at the door, some new information comes to light, and he realises that his life could change forever.
3. Chelsea Fox’s world is turned upside down

Chelsea enjoys a flirt with Mark Fowler (Stephen Aaron-Sipple), but matters turn sour when he engages in a heated argument with Zack Hudson (James Farrar) about Vicki.
Lauren steps in, and when Chelsea is alone with Zack, they almost kiss. Their moment is interrupted and Chelsea heads back to the marquee, completely oblivious to something terrible.
She screams out for mum Denise, who has barely had time to process her own troubling situation. In a bid to protect Chelsea from further upset, she decides to keep her cancer diagnosis a secret.
4. Max Branning pops the question to Cindy Beale

One of the biggest mysteries following the New Year’s Day flash-forward episode was the identity of Max Branning’s bride-to-be.
In next week’s episodes, we may finally have an answer to that question! He decides to declare his love for Cindy publicly, and gets down on one knee in front of their neighbours.
She’s stunned by his proposal…
How will Cindy respond?
5. Kat and Alfie Moon fear they’ve poisoned their punters

Having supplied the food for the wedding reception, Kat (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) become concerned that they’ve accidentally poisoned the guests.
As the night comes to a close, they decide to host an after party at The Vic.
Could the pub become a much-needed community hub during the locals’ moments of crisis?
6. George Knight makes a decision that he may live to regret

Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) is furious that dad George is spending time with her racist adoptive grandfather Eddie (Christopher Fairbank), and takes her anger out on boyfriend Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway).
He recalls their earlier altercation, leaving them heartbroken, and decides to go and confront her dad. He’s in disbelief to learn that Eddie hasn’t changed his ways in prison, and his attempt at an apology to Gina is thrown to one side.

Darting to No. 1 to protect his family, George tells Eddie that he’s sending him back behind bars. Eddie realises that George isn’t mincing his words, and drops the bombshell that Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) has been allowing him to stay in exchange for financial support towards their businesses.
After questioning Nicola, George renounces Eddie as his father and an explosive argument breaks out. He then makes a huge, last-minute decision.
