Badut Gendong is a 2026 Indonesian horror film about a masked killer who murders residents of a village.
The movie was written and directed by Charles Gozali (Qodrat 2; Tumbal Darah; The Devil’s Lair; Qodrat).
A presentation by Magma Entertainment in collaboration with Komet Productions, Legacy Pictures, Skop Productions, Astro Shaw Sdn Bhd, Applause Entertainment, Virtuelines Entertainment and Visual Media Studio, the movie stars Derby Romero, Marthino Lio, Clara Bernadeth and Khiva Rayanka.
Plot:
The chaos of a sacred sugarcane wedding celebration in a village turns out to be costly with a series of murders by a mysterious figure who terrorises the residents. Is this a curse stemming from Ki Kamboja’s anger and revenge? Or is it retribution for the villagers’ sins? The answer lies behind the Clown Gendong mask.
