Xabi Alonso is the new coach at the helm of Chelsea and will know the importance of making every minute count during pre-season.

The wheels came off at Stamford Bridge last season, with Enzo Maresca leaving the club midway through the campaign and the Blues finishing down in 10th.
Alonso certainly has plenty of talent available to him and will hope to have the West Londoners challenging much higher up the Premier League in the new campaign.
The 2026/27 season starts later due to the World Cup but already the wheels are in motion at Chelsea to prepare for kick-off weekend.
Radio Times brings you all the information on Chelsea’s pre-season, including how to watch.
