The meeting holds particular significance as Peddi features Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan in the lead role. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the sports-action drama marks one of the filmmaker’s most ambitious projects to date and brings together a diverse ensemble cast.

Apart from Ram Charan in the titular role, the film stars Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu in key roles. The project generated considerable attention during its promotional campaign owing to its scale, cast, and the collaboration between several prominent names from the South Indian film industry.

Peddi has been written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas. The film has been backed in association with Mythri Movie Makers and IVY Entertainment.

The movie premiered internationally on June 3, 2026, before opening in cinemas worldwide on June 4. In North India, the film was released by Jio Studios.
