“Everything is going according to plan.” “Until it isn’t…” Apple TV has revealed their full official trailer for the thriller series titled Lucky, ready to watch streaming starting in July this summer. Written by Jonathan Tropper and Cassie Pappas, and adapted from Marissa Stapley’s bestselling novel of the same name, Lucky centers on a young woman (Anya Taylor-Joy) who left behind the life of crime she was raised in years ago, but must now embrace her darker, criminal side one final time in a desperate attempt to escape her past. A con artist thriller series from acclaimed TV writers – ready to rile up viewers this July. A reformed criminal is forced to confront her past and return to illicit activities for one final job, hoping to secure her freedom and leave her former life behind for good. This Lucky series stars Anya Taylor-Joy as the titular “Lucky”, Annette Bening, Timothy Olyphant, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, Clifton Collins Jr, Drew Starkey, William Fichtner, and Mo McRae. This is a much stronger trailer than the initial teaser finally setting up the story and all of the characters and the stakes. An excellent cast makes this series worth watching out for.
