After dominating theaters worldwide, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle is finally heading to home screens. The anime blockbuster, which wrapped up its theatrical run months ago, now has a confirmed physical release date. Fans who missed it or want a rewatch can soon own the film, complete with extra content and special editions.

The home release for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle is officially locked in. The film will arrive on Blu-ray and DVD in Japan on July 29, 2026. This comes more than six months after its global theatrical debut, which saw the movie break major box office records and become one of the biggest anime films ever made (via Collider).
Along with the standard edition, a premium version is also on the way. This limited release includes fresh artwork designed by Akihiro Matsushima, bonus discs, and a collectible booklet. Some retailers in Japan will also offer exclusive items, such as prints and themed merchandise, tied to the film. A new trailer has already been released, giving fans a closer look at what’s included in these editions.
The movie itself continues the story right after Season 4. It follows Tanjiro Kamado and the Demon Slayer Corps as they are pulled into the Infinity Castle. There, they face Muzan and his powerful demon forces in what adapts the manga’s final battle arc. While this film covers a big chunk of the ending, reports suggest two more movies are planned to fully wrap up the story.
Critically, the film has been a strong performer. It holds a 98% score on Rotten Tomatoes and received an “A” CinemaScore, showing solid audience approval. Reviews praised its animation and action sequences, though some critics felt the structure worked better as episodic storytelling. Even so, its impact is clear, with fans eager to revisit it.
For now, there’s still no confirmed streaming date outside Japan. But with the physical release set, fans finally have a clear way to return to one of anime’s biggest cinematic moments.
