Just 19 days in theatres and Dhurandhar has set a MEGA record. It has entered 600 Crore Club and that too in a matter of just 19 days. It could well have done that in 18 days itself but the missed the feat by just a little over a crore. However, the milestone was achieved early Tuesday morning itself as the film not just went past the prestigious 600 crores mark but also added a lot more.
The film now stands at 619.30 crores as 20.40 crores more came on Tuesday. On Monday the film had collected 19.70 crores and it was the first ever day when it didn’t touch the 20 crores mark. Now the growth again on Tuesday is very impressive as the film is back in the 20s and Wednesday would actually see a rise in collections since it’s Christmas Eve and hence night shows would be better. Also, holiday season has officially begun now and next few days would see a continued rise in collections every day right till Sunday.
The Aditya Dhar film is now gearing up for the next big one, the 700 Crore Club milestone and if the pace continues like this then it will pretty much reach there by Sunday night. The Ranveer Singh led ensemble affair has been over performing everyday and hence if it manages this remarkable feat by Saturday itself with shine stretch then it won’t be utterly surprising.
