Sequel to Scott Mann’s 2022 hit survival psychological thriller, Fall 2 just got two massive updates. The upcoming film is set to arrive in theaters in 2026, four years after the original was released.

What is the update on Fall 2?
The sequel has been retitled Fall 2: Deadpoint. A new look at the film has been released through its first poster by distributor Signature Entertainment. The poster shows two rock climbers in a precarious position, stranded on a rope bridge high up in the mountains.
“The nightmare isn’t over,” reads the caption on the post.
A previous report stated that the movie would have been released in August. However, the film’s poster has provided an update on that. Fall 2: Deadpoint will release in theaters on September 9, 2026.
“Overwhelmed by her sister Hunter’s death, Jax (Slater) connects with Luce (Thomas), Hunter’s fearless friend,” reads the movie’s synopsis. “To heal, they attempt the infamous plank walk of Mount Kwan in Thailand. After a sudden rockslide leaves them stranded on a fragile plank 3000 feet in the air, Jax must confront her deepest fears and fight for survival to find closure.”
The original Fall was a surprise hit, becoming the second most-watched film in the United Kingdom on Netflix. Fall currently sits at a 79% on Rotten Tomatoes, with a matching score by audiences. The movie made over $18 million at the worldwide box office.
Fall 2 stars Harriet Slater (Outlander), Arsema Thomas (Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story), and Tom Brittney (Grantchester). The film is directed by Peter and Michael Spierig from a screenplay written by Mann and Jonathan Frank. It is produced by Scott Mann, Mark Lane, James Harris, Christian Mercuri, and David Haring.
A third Fall movie is also in development, with original Fall director Scott Mann returning to helm it.
