Prime Video’s Fallout continues to attract major talent, with a trio of big names set to recur in the sci-fi drama’s third season – joining Ella Purnell as plucky protagonist Lucy MacLean.

Based on the video game franchise of the same name, the series imagines a post-apocalyptic future, where nuclear war has reduced the planet to an irradiated wasteland, littered with bizarre – and often dangerous – surviving remnants.
Lucy is the descendant of a ‘vault dweller’ who took refuge deep underground when the bombs started dropping, making her blissfully ignorant of the surface world until she is forced to confront it head-on.
Walton Goggins (The White Lotus), Aaron Moten (The Night Of) and Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks) also star in the streaming epic, which was handed an early season 3 renewal before the second had premiered.
Signing on to the Fallout cast for this forthcoming chapter is Manny Jacinto, Emily Mortimer and Thomasin McKenzie.
Jacinto’s foray into the Star Wars universe ended prematurely, but he certainly wowed many viewers as The Acolyte‘s seductive dark sider, who went by the name Qimir. He’s also known for comedic turns in The Good Place and Freakier Friday.

Mortimer recently took over the role of Mary Brown in the Paddington film series, starring opposite Hugh Bonneville and Ben Whishaw in the third entry. Other notable credits include The Pursuit of Love and The Newsroom.
Last but not least, Thomasin McKenzie earned high praise for her turn in 2021 awards contender The Power of the Dog. The New Zealander also impressed in Edgar Wright’s Last Night in Soho and recent musical drama The Testament of Ann Lee.
For the time being, it’s not yet clear who exactly these additions will be playing in Fallout’s highly unpredictable world.

Prime Video’s series is executive produced by former Westworld bosses Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, who have had no trouble convincing high-profile stars to drop by for memorable guest roles.
Previous seasons have welcomed Matt Berry (What We Do in the Shadows), Chris Parnell (Rick and Morty), Fred Armisen (Wednesday), Kumail Nanjiani (Taskmaster), Macaulay Culkin (Zootropolis 2) and Ron Perlman (Hellboy).
The last name on that list was widely demanded by fans, owing to Perlman’s long-standing affiliation with the Fallout games, where he has lent his distinctive voice as a narrator since the very beginning.
Fallout season 3 is due to begin filming imminently in Los Angeles, California. We’ll bring you further details on release plans as they come in.
