This is the first ever DC horror thriller creation, based on the comic book character of Clayface from the Batman universe. Currently set to arrive in theaters in October this fall. The movie is a body horror story about an up-and-coming actor whose face is disfigured by a gangster. As a last resort, he turns to a scientist who transforms his body into clay. Exploring “the loss of one’s identity and humanity, corrosive love, and the dark underbelly of scientific ambition.” Tom Rhys Harries stars as Matt Hagen who becomes “Clayface”, with Eddie Marsan, Max Minghella, Naomi Ackie, David Dencik, plus Nancy Carroll and Joshua James. It’s produced by The Batman’s Matt Reeves and features a screenplay co-written by horror mastermind Mike Flanagan.
