Bullseye has been recommissioned for another series on ITV, with Freddie Flintoff returning as host alongside scorer Richard Ashdown.

The series successfully returned in 2024, with the modern revival reaching nearly 15 million viewers, with 7 million tuning in to watch last year’s Christmas special alone.
Flintoff said of the renewal: “It’s great that Bullseye still has a special place in the nation’s heart, as it does mine, and I loved bringing it back on TV screens. I can’t wait to see what a new season brings.”
The series sees three pairs of contestants, each containing an amateur dart player and their team partner, as they compete against each others. The teams then test their skills at throwing darts at different game boards while answering questions correctly for points and a fabulous range of prizes.
As they progress throughout the show, three teams are then whittled down to one final pair who can go on to risk all their money and prizes for Bully’s Mystery Star Prize.

Katie Rawcliffe, director of entertainment, reality & daytime commissioning ITV commented: “Bullseye is a cherished format which has proved incredibly popular with viewers since its return, undoubtedly helped by Freddie. We’re thrilled to be bringing another series to screens later this year.”
While Lily Wilson, managing director, Bright Entertainment added: “We are thrilled to be bringing the iconic Bullseye back to British TV audiences later this year. With Freddie Flintoff equally as adored by the public, he is the perfect host for this modern take on a TV classic.”
Bullseye is one of the UK’s most successful and best loved game shows and has a broad demographic appeal. The original series regularly achieved audiences of up to 10 million viewers for ITV at its peak between 1981 and 1995.
Laura Wood, managing director, Bullseye Group Limited said: “Bullseye is one of Britain’s most iconic television brands, and I’m thrilled to see it continue to resonate with viewers across generations. Freddie has embraced the show’s heritage while helping introduce Bullseye to new audiences.
“I’m delighted to build on the success of its return and bring more of the fun and entertainment that has made Bullseye a British favourite for over four decades.”
