“Where are we?” “It’s world made up entirely of your memories!” Warner Bros has debuted a new official trailer for their animated The Cat in the Hat adventure, based on the beloved Dr. Seuss children’s book of the same name. Warner Bros Animation brings us an all-new animated version of this imaginative story. A clever cat brings chaos and mischief to a pair of siblings struggling with their move to a new town. In the film, our hero The Cat takes on his toughest assignment yet for the I.I.I.I. (the Institute for the Institution of Imagination and Inspiration, LLC): to cheer Gabby & Sebastian, a pair of siblings struggling with their move to a new town. Known for taking things too far, it could be this agent of chaos’s last chance… or he’ll lose his magical hat! With the voices of Bill Hader as The Cat, Xochitl Gomez, Matt Berry, Quinta Brunson, and Paula Pell; along with Tiago Martinez, Giancarlo Esposito, America Ferrera, Bowen Yang, & Tituss Burgess. Dr. Seuss’ The Cat in the Hat book was adapted before into the live-action movie in 2003, with Mike Myers as The Cat (in make-up). This trailer reveals more of the actual plot about getting lost in her memories, which makes this play like an Inside Out sequel and not anything original. Still looks like fun.

“Today is going to be THE. BEST. DAY. EVER!” Meet the Cat in the Hat you don’t know! In the whimsical tradition of Dr. Seuss, The Cat in the Hat comes to the big screen in his animated theatrical feature film debut, an all-new, epic adventure with an edge, where mischief, magic and mayhem reign supreme. Doing what he does best, the Cat—as voiced by Bill Hader—spreads joy to kids in his hilarious, signature and singularly irreverent way, transporting them and audiences on a fantastical journey through a world they’ve never seen before. The Cat in the Hat is co-directed by animation filmmakers Alessandro Carloni (director of Kung Fu Panda 3) & Erica Rivinoja (writer on Trolls, The Addams Family, “Clone High”). It’s also written by Carloni & Rivinoja, adapted from the iconic Dr. Seuss book first published in 1957. Produced by Daniela Mazzucato and Jared Stern. Made by Warner Bros Animation. WB will debut The Cat in the Hat animated movie in theaters nationwide starting November 6th, 2026 this fall. Who wants to watch this?
