Haunted 3D: Echoes Of The Past is a success story. The film had a good weekend of Rs. 9.63 crores with day on day growth coming in. After this, it was about how good Monday would turn out to be. In fact, leave aside good, all it needed was a stable Monday.
As much as Rs. 1.72 crores came in and that’s good stability actually. The ticket rates are anyways lower on Monday but then with screens and shows being increased and that too at major multiplexes, the results were there to be seen with increase in footfalls.
As a result, the four-day total now stands at Rs. 11.35 crores and that’s now good enough to ensure a healthy run for the first week. In fact, that would also be sufficient to not just cover the costs for the film but then also add some profits to it, with whatever that comes from second week on being added bonus. The trending so far has, in fact, now ensured that the film can have a lifetime of Rs. 20 crores, and that will only ensure that Vikram Bhatt’s Haunted franchise will now move on to the third instalment.
