Having been released just last week and already climbed to Netflix’s number one spot, I Will Find You is just another thriller gem in Harlan Coben‘s TV thriller crown, it seems.
As is usually the case with his shows, they’re not only packed full of twists and finish on a surprise ending but they also boast some pretty stellar names.
Coben may have been providing plenty of UK-based shows over recent years but I Will Find You actually marks the author’s first US show for Netflix, a format change that works for the better.
The series sees Avatar star Sam Worthington in the lead role as grieving father David Burroughs who is serving a life sentence for the tragic murder of his own son. But when he’s shown a photo of a boy that looks remarkably like his own, he’s hellbent on breaking out of prison in order to find out the truth.
Along the way, there are plenty of familiar faces from the world of TV as the likes of Britt Lower, Milo Ventimiglia and Logan Browning are just some of the stars making up this cast. But who else features in I Will Find You? Read on to find out.

Sam Worthington as David Burroughs
Who is David Burroughs? A father serving a life sentence for the murder of his own son, David believes that the crime was committed by someone else but nobody seems to believe him. One day, he’s alerted to new evidence that suggests that his son may still be alive. So, he decides to break out of prison in search for the truth.
Where have I seen Sam Worthington before? The Australian actor headlines James Cameron’s ongoing Avatar series as Jake Sully, and has featured in films including Clash of the Titans, Hacksaw Ridge and Netflix heist thriller Lift.
Britt Lower as Rachel Mills
Who is Rachel Mills? David’s ex-sister-in-law and a once-decorated reporter whose career collapsed after she was fired. When she stumbles on evidence pointing to a secret about David’s son, she sees a route back into journalism and to finally find the truth.
Where have I seen Britt Lower before? Lower is best known for her role as Helly R in Apple TV’s Severance, which earned her an Emmy award in 2025. She has also previously starred in FXX comedy Man Seeking Woman, Casual and High Maintenance.
Milo Ventimiglia as Hayden
Who is Hayden? Rachel’s ex-boyfriend, Hayden hails from a prominent Boston family and devotes himself to running its philanthropic foundations.
Where have I seen Milo Ventimiglia before? Ventimiglia played Jack Pearson in NBC’s This Is Us, earning multiple Emmy nominations for the role. He is also fondly remembered as Jess Mariano in Gilmore Girls. Other credits include Heroes and The Company You Keep.
Logan Browning as Sarah Greer
Who is Sarah Greer? A member of the FBI’s Fugitive Task Force in Boston, who is partnered with veteran agent Max Williams. Sarah is devoted to her job but soon gets wrapped up in the Burroughs case as David escapes from prison.
Where have I seen Logan Browning before? Browning led Netflix satire Dear White People as Samantha White and starred in horror thriller The Perfection opposite Allison Williams.
Chi McBride as Max Williams
Who is Max Williams? The legendary head of the FBI’s Fugitive Task Force, Max is committed to hunting down David once he breaks out of prison.
Where have I seen Chi McBride before? He played Captain Lou Grover in Hawaii Five-0 and Emerson Cod in Bryan Fuller’s cult favourite Pushing Daisies, with further credits in Boston Public and Human Target.
Erin Richards as Cheryl Dreason
Who is Cheryl Dreason? David’s ex-wife, paediatric surgeon Cheryl is still very much grieving the loss of their son but has seemed to rebuild her life.
Where have I seen Erin Richards before? The Welsh actor is widely known as Barbara Kean in Fox’s Gotham and has appeared in Netflix’s The Crown, Breaking In and Kingdom.
Jonathan Tucker as Adam Mackenzie
Who is Adam Mackenzie? A police sergeant and David’s oldest friend, Adam is willing to risk his career and his freedom to help engineer David’s escape.
Where have I seen Jonathan Tucker before? Credits include HBO’s Westworld, Kingdom, Justified: City Primeval, City on a Hill and Sofia Coppola’s The Virgin Suicides.
Madeleine Stowe as Gertrude Payne
Who is Gertrude Payne? A wealthy Boston heiress who may be hiding something a lot more sinister beneath the picture-perfect facade.
Where have I seen Madeleine Stowe before? The Golden Globe nominee headlined ABC’s Revenge as Victoria Grayson and starred in The Last of the Mohicans, 12 Monkeys and We Were Soldiers. More recently, she was seen in It: Welcome to Derry.
Clancy Brown as Nicky Fisher
Who is Nicky Fisher? A semi-retired, old-school mobster who has links to the Burroughs family.
Where have I seen Clancy Brown before? The veteran character actor played Salvatore Vincent Maroni in HBO’s The Penguin, the Kurgan in Highlander and Captain Hadley in The Shawshank Redemption, and is the long-time voice of Mr Krabs in SpongeBob SquarePants.
