ITV bosses have issued a major announcement about the future of The 1% Club with Lee Mack.
The multi award-winning Saturday night game show has been renewed for a further three years, with more specials, more rollovers and, of course, more Lee Mack.
The show features 100 contestants attempting to answer logic-based questions that increase in difficulty and culminates in a final question that only 1 per cent of the public should be able to get right.
Speaking of his excitement about the new landmark three-year deal with ITV, host Lee Mack said he was “delighted”.
“I’m delighted that ITV have given us three more series to discover Great British clever clogs. I just told my family how old I would be when these three series are over, but apparently I got it wrong. Which shows you how well I’d do as a contestant,” he joked.
The 1% Club quickly became the biggest original quiz show in more than a decade with episodes regularly exceeding five million views each.
Since launching three years ago in 2022, it has been streamed over 60 million times and reached over 43 million viewers, securing its place as a global hit.
ITV’s Director of Factual Entertainment, Sue Murphy, said: “We’re thrilled to be renewing The 1% Club for a further three years. The show has become a huge hit with viewers of all ages.”
She continued: “With Lee at the helm as always, we can’t wait to bring more series and specials to the viewers. It’s a brilliant entertainment show with a unique format that viewers love to play along with at home, and its broad appeal makes it a hugely valuable part of our slate on ITV.”
While executive Producers and creators of The 1% Club, Dean Nabarro and Andy Auerbach, added: “It’s a wonderful vote of confidence that ITV have commissioned three more years of the show and we’re delighted that so many more people will now get the chance to join The 1% Club.”

In December last year, a new spin-off was announced called The 1% Club Rollover, which had the same game format as the usual series but if the prize wasn’t won, it rolled-over to the next day’s show, meaning there was a potential £500,000 to be won on the final night.
In another twist, if anyone got as far as the elusive 1% question, they automatically came back to compete again in the next day’s show, meaning they could have potentially won the Prize Pot again and double (or even treble or quadruple) their winnings.
ITV has confirmed that over the new three-year renewal period it will also commission new series of The 1% Club Rollover, which will return later this year, and The 1% Club Kids Special, due to air later this month.
The 1% Club has won a host of awards including three times back-to-back winner of the National TV Award for best quiz show, back-to-back winner of the Broadcast Award for best entertainment and a Rose d’Or for best entertainment show.
Lee Mack has also been nominated twice for a BAFTA for best entertainment performance but narrowly missed out on the win at the 2026 TV Awards to Bob Mortimer for Last One Laughing.
