Jannat Zubair has shared a heartfelt note on social media following the premiere of Glory earlier this month. Marking her first OTT and Netflix project, the actress expressed gratitude towards the cast and crew while reflecting on her experience of playing the character Gudiya in the sports drama series.

Known for her massive social media presence and television popularity, Jannat also posted a series of behind-the-scenes photos from the sets of Glory. Some of the images featured the actress sporting bruises and injuries from one of the show’s intense assault sequences, offering fans a glimpse into the physically demanding aspects of her role.
Opening up about the emotional connection she developed with the character, Jannat wrote, “Waited years for a role that would truly feel like mine… and Gudiya found me at the right time. This one means a lot. Being my first Netflix & OTT project, I was learning, feeling everything so deeply, and just giving it my all every single day. The love coming in for the show and for Gudiya has been overwhelming in the best way, thank you for seeing her and connecting with her.”
The actress also thanked filmmaker Karan Anshuman and her co-stars for making the experience memorable. In the same note, she added, “@krnx sir, thank you for trusting me with her and for being my safe space on set. You made it so easy for me to just be and perform. @pulkitsamrat & @divyenndu thank you for the warmth, the care, and for making everything feel so comfortable. And Pulkit, special mention for always making sure everyone was well-fed on set and ordering the best food. To the entire @atomicfilmsin team & @netflix_in thank you for believing in me and making this journey so special. I couldn’t have asked for a better unit. Gudiya will always stay with me.”
Glory premiered on Netflix India on May 1 and revolves around the lives of boxers and a fractured family brought together by tragedy and unresolved conflicts. The series stars Pulkit Samrat, Divyenndu, Ashutosh Rana, Sayani Gupta, Suvinder Vicky and Kashmira Pardeshi in key roles.
