Following her all-encompassing depiction of a woman in a tumultuous relationship for Lynne Ramsey’s Die My Love, Jennifer Lawrence is returning to the lighter world of the romcom to produce and star in Apple’s One Month Mark.
Per Deadline’s report the Academy Award winner has signed on to star in the highly sought after project, which has landed at the door of Apple Original Films following a competitive bidding war that has attracted A-list stars and directors.
Written by Sophie Fleur de Bruijn (Polycule), One Month Mark follows two individuals – a woman who has never made it past a month in a relationship, and a man who has never gone longer than a month without one.

Lawrence’s last foray into romcom territory was with 2023’s R-rated effort No Hard Feelings, which earned favourable reviews and showed strong staying power at the global box-office to the tune of almost $90 million.
Next up for Lawrence is Martin Scorsese’s eerie mystery What Happens at Night, in which she stars alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in a story about a married couple who visit a snowy European town to adopt a baby.
