Who Wants to be a Millionaire? and its spin-off Millionaire Hot Seat will be returning for new episodes on ITV.

The broadcaster has ordered 15 new episodes of the quiz show along with 20 Hot Seat episodes, both hosted by Jeremy Clarkson.
Millionaire Hot Seat was first announced in July 2025, a high pressure game that requires players to think tactically and answer under pressure as they compete against the clock and each other.
In the series, audiences have watched on as six contestants sit in a queue around the Hot Seat, and only the person in the seat can face Jeremy Clarkson and answer questions on the Million Pound Money Ladder.
“The Millionaire brand continues to deliver for ITV audiences and Millionaire Hot Seat has brought an exciting new energy to the format,” commissioner Katie Rawcliffe said in a statement.
“The combination of Jeremy Clarkson’s hosting and the high-pressure gameplay has proved a winning formula, so we’re delighted to be bringing both Millionaire Hot Seat and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? back for more episodes.”
Both shows will film later this year, with Clarkson at the helm once more.

The TV presenter recently revealed in a new episode of Clarkson’s Farm that he had been diagnosed with an “aggressive” form of cancer, though at the time hadn’t confirmed which kind of cancer it was.
In a recent interview with the Sunday Times, Clarkson announced he is officially in remission after follow-up testing two months ago showed no indication of cancer.
“I am without a doubt, officially, the world’s luckiest man,” he said.
“It was an aggressive type of cancer. It could have spread, it could have gone into the pancreas, it could have gone anywhere, and that would have been trouble.”
He also shared two messages with fans on Instagram, sharing in a video: “Hello everyone. The more observant among you will have noticed that I’m not dead.”
“And I’m not just not dead, I’m perfectly fine. My eyebrows in particular are looking very lustrous,” he continued.
“And the reason why I’m fine is because the doctors caught the prostate cancer early and they caught it early because I got tested.”
