Emmerdale has teased in its summer preview that there are “stormy times ahead”.

The upcoming episodes, which will focus on Kev (Chris Coghill), Lewis (Bradley Riches), Mack (Lawrence Robb), Robert (Ryan Hawley), Ross (Mike Parr) and Billy (Jay Kontzle), will be filled with “jealousy, revenge, and betrayal”, according to ITV.
One big storyline will see Mack, who recently discovered that Charity and Ross are Leyla’s biological parents, attempt to seek revenge.
Matters soon escalate, with a barnside tussle unfolding between Mack and Ross – after which one character’s life is left hanging in the balance.
There’ll also be a big mystery for Robert this summer on the soap, with ITV teasing that the character will be left rattled when Kev suddenly remembered where he knows his long-lost cousin, Serena Sugden (Casey Al-Shaqsy) from.

And when Robert is struck unconscious by a runaway farm trailer while Serena is at the scene, Aaron (Danny Miller) grows suspicious of the new arrival.
As Aaron, Robert and Chas (Lucy Pargeter) dig for answers, a piece of information on Serena’s stolen phone proves she’s lying. So, what is she hiding?
Elsewhere on the ITV soap this summer, Joe (Ned Porteous) will harbour suspicions that his fiancée Dawn (Olivia Bromley) might still have feelings for Billy, but will it destroy their big day?
