This summer marks the start of the Andoni Iraola era at Liverpool, with the Spaniard replacing Arne Slot at the helm.

Iraola left Bournemouth at the end of last season after doing a hugely impressive job at the Vitality Stadium and the pressure is now on him to make the step up.

The Reds have lost three key squad members – Ibrahima Konaté, Andrew Robertson and Mohamed Salah – and looked to Europe for their first two arrivals.

More can be expected as Iraola and Liverpool prepare for the start of the 2026/27 Premier League campaign.

Liverpool have enquired about Monaco winger Maghnes Akliouche as they look to beat PSG to the 24-year-old’s signature.

The Reds had made RB Leipzig attacker Yan Diomande a priority this summer but the 19-year-old is thought to favour a move to PSG.

Liverpool may look to deal with the Paris club directly and have been linked with French winger Bradley Barcola as they try to replace Mohamed Salah.

Midfielder Curtis Jones is a top target for Inter Milan but have yet to make an approach, while the England international will get a chance to impress Iraola this summer.
