We’re now heading rapidly towards the end of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season 2, with the eighth episode now available to watch on Apple TV.
Episode 8 and sees Titan X make landfall in Australia, where Shaw lures Godzilla into a showdown. Meanwhile, Isabel uses the battle as a distraction for her secret operation.
In the season’s upcoming ninth episode, Monarch and the team will be seen heading to Skull Island, while Cate tries to reason with Kentaro and stop Isabel. Additionally, Shaw and Keiko will be seen searching for Billy’s long-lost rift.
This season of the show has arrived following 2024’s Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, but before the next big screen instalment in the franchise, Godzilla x Kong: Supernova, is set to arrive in 2027.
In the series, Shaw continues to be played by father-son duo Kurt and Wyatt Russell in a shared role across two timelines, while the rest of the cast includes Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Joe Tippett and Anders Holm.
