Sony Pictures has unveiled a new poster for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. In addition, a new Spider-Man 4 featurette focused on the film’s practical effects has been released. Featuring new behind-the-scenes footage from the movie, it also includes a special message from Tom Holland and director Destin Daniel Cretton.

What happens in the new Spider-Man 4 video?
Titled “Practical Production”, the video gives fans a glimpse of the many practical stunts and effects of the film. This includes some new looks at Spider-Man’s post-No Way Home suit, along with some variations. Among the highlights are a shot of Spider-Man wearing a beanie and another showing him jumping toward Michael Mando’s Scorpion.
“This is some of the best action that we’ve had in any of these movies,” says Holland. “We’ve shot the most stunts on the day in-camera.”
“Shooting that opening action sequence was really exhilarating, it was the first thing that we did,” reveals Daniel Cretton.
Along with that, Marvel has also released a new poster for the film, with the tagline, “The world has forgotten Peter Parker, but he hasn’t forgotten them.” The poster shows Parker wearing the Spider-Man suit underneath his clothes, nodding to classic comic-book covers and his struggle to maintain a dual identity.
Peter is living a “miserable” life.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Mark Ruffalo, and Jon Bernthal as Punisher following his special presentation. The film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who helmed 2021’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released in theaters on July 31, 2026.
