Newcastle United will be working hard over the summer to ensure 2026/27 brings improved fortunes on Tyneside.
The Mags finished in the bottom half of the Premier League table last term but the club chiefs have stuck by Eddie Howe, who leads the side into the new campaign.
The top-flight season starts later than usual due to the World Cup and Howe will no doubt want to make every minute count.
Newcastle’s pre-season schedule takes them to Gateshead, Bristol, Valencia and Scotland before they return to St James Park for their last few friendlies.
