The Power universe lives on.

Michael Rainey Jr and Joseph Sikora will reprise their roles as Tariq St Patrick and Tommy Egan, respectively, in new series Power: Legacy, as revealed by Deadline.
The show picks up after the events of Power Book IV: Force, which saw Tommy and Tariq join forces to defeat Jenard’s crew, with Tommy emerging as Chicago’s top kingpin.
But Tommy now has his sights set on his hometown of New York after accepting Tariq’s offer to “take the city by storm”, according to the official logline.
Power Book IV: Force boss Gary Lennon will return as showrunner and executive producer, while Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is also on board as an executive producer.
“Power never dies, and this chapter is our biggest yet,” Jackson teased.
“Fans have been waiting to see Tariq and Tommy together, and now they’re taking over New York City. Bringing Joseph and Michael back together is special; they’ve turned these characters into true icons of the Power universe.”
Lennon also teased an “electrifying” new chapter that explores “if these two men can share the city, the game, and the intoxicating drug known as Power”.
The series marks the sixth TV show in the Power franchise, following the original Power, Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, Power Book IV: Force and upcoming prequel Power: Origins.

Meanwhile, Raising Kanan returns for its fifth and final season on 12 June.
“After four seasons of ambition, betrayal and painful revelations about his mother Raq, Kanan has finally embraced who he is and broken free from her influence,” reads the official synopsis.
“In the fifth and final season, his ruthless transformation is complete as he prepares for an inevitable war with Raq and cements his place in the Queens drug trade alongside Breeze.
“As rivalries intensify and empires begin to crumble, Kanan’s pursuit of power sets the stage for the next chapter of his story.”
Power: Origins is also currently shooting in New York.
The prequel, which picks up after the events of the Raising Kanan finale, will see Mekai Curtis reprise his role as Kanan opposite Spence Moore II as a young James “Ghost” St. Patrick and Charlie Mann as a young Tommy Egan.
Starz has described the new spin-off as “a fun, rambunctious exploration of a new time period in the Power franchise” (via The Hollywood Reporter), following “the unbridled audacity of young men on the rise, determined to become legends in the game”.
