England take on Panama as they close out Group L at World Cup 2026.

Panama are unfortunate to have taken nothing from their first two games – 1-0 defeats to Ghana and Croatia – and have already been eliminated.

England will have the bit between their teeth, however, after being handed a reality check by the Black Stars, who held them to a goalless draw in their second game.
The Three Lions will want to win the group and show their quality as they build momentum ahead of the round of 32.

Panama v England predictions
England need a response to their mid-week frustration – and they will find one against Panama in their final Group L game.
The Central American team have already been eliminated and will want to leave a mark at the tournament so they’re not likely to sit as deep as Ghana.
Their physicality and speed on the break could cause England some issues but the added space should mean the fast-flowing football we saw against Croatia returns and the Three Lions claim a comfortable win.
Radio Times says… Panama 0-3 England
