Lukkhe is set to premiere globally on May 8, Prime Video has announced, unveiling its upcoming musical action drama that blends rap, revenge, and high-stakes storytelling. The eight-episode series will stream in Hindi across India and over 240 countries and territories.

Prime Video announces May 8 premiere for Lukkhe, a rap-fuelled action drama set in Punjab

Directed by Himank Gaur and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Rajesh Bahl, the show is created and executive produced by Agrim Joshi and Debojit Das Purkayastha. It stars Raashii Khanna alongside rapper-singer King, who makes his acting debut. The series also features Palak Tiwari and Lakshvir Singh Saran, supported by an ensemble cast including Nakul Roshan Sahdev, Kritika Bharadwaj, Shivankit Parihar, Yograj Singh, and Ayesha Raza Mishra.

Set against the backdrop of Chandigarh, Lukkhe explores the intersection of rap culture, ambition, and crime. Nikhil Madhok, Director and Head of Originals at Amazon Prime Video India, said, “Lukkhe is a strong reflection of our vision, bringing together high-octane action with pulsating rap music, while seamlessly balancing pace with emotional intensity to create a truly distinctive world. Blending genres and anchored by music, Lukkhe aims to offer a distinct narrative experience when it premieres this May.
