With season 1 of Saint-Pierre having just premiered in the UK, fans will be pleased to learn that the crime drama is officially returning for more.

Having now been renewed for season 3, we’re set to be reunited once again with Death in Paradise favourite Joséphine Jobert who leads the cast along with Allan Hawco.
Previously speaking about any similarities to the BBC cosy crime drama, Jobert told Radio Times: “When I read this script, I thought that it has nothing to do with Death in Paradise.
“Death in Paradise, like Guadeloupe, Saint Marie is a character itself. And it’s the same for Saint-Pierre, the island of Saint Pierre is a character itself. But they are two different people.
“You have the Caribbean and the sun whereas Saint Pierre is very cold, the vibe is different. I still receive offers for other crime shows but I say no because I think I’ve done enough.”
But when will Saint-Pierre season 3 be landing on screens? Read on for everything we know so far.
Saint-Pierre season 3 release date speculation
The third season of Saint-Pierre doesn’t yet have a confirmed release date.
But we do know that filming for the new series kicks off next month and so, based on previous season’s timelines, new episodes could be landing some time in 2027.

In a statement released to Deadline, Hawco and co-creator Robina Lord-Stafford said: “We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support from CBC, our incredible partners at Fifth Season, and the worldwide fans who have embraced the show from the very beginning.
“Returning to Newfoundland and Saint-Pierre et Miquelon for Season 3 is especially exciting, as these locations are such an important part of the show’s identity.
“We’re looking forward to building on the momentum of the first two seasons and bringing audiences even more of the mystery, unexpected twists, and character dynamics that make this world so special.”
As the first season has just aired in the UK, we may be getting a bit of a staggered release compared to our stateside counterparts but would expect it to air on U&Alibi. It will continue airing on Canadian network CBC.
Saint-Pierre season 3 cast speculation: Who will return?

It wouldn’t be a season of Saint-Pierre without the show’s leads, Joséphine Jobert and series co-creator Allan Hawco, who play Deputy Chief Geneviève “Arch” Archambault and Sergeant Inspector Donny “Fitz” Fitzpatrick, respectively.
The cast we’d expect to return for Saint-Pierre season 3 are as follows.
- Allan Hawco as Sergeant Inspector Donny “Fitz” Fitzpatrick
- Joséphine Jobert as Deputy Chief Geneviève “Arch” Archambault
- Benz Antoine as Marcus Villeneuve
- Erika Prevost as Patty Montclair-Ito
- Jean-Michel Le Gal as Renuf Aucoin
- Tamara Podemski as Natasha Bourge
- Ayesha Mansur Gonsalves as Veda Gonsalves
- Tamara Podemski as Natasha Bourge
What will Saint-Pierre season 3 be about?
There were plenty of twists in Saint-Pierre season 2, with Arch learning some shock revelations about her personal life and the path of the Abstract Killer crossing over with her own.
But the final moments of the second season also saw the introduction of a mysterious woman, who was seen disembarking from a helicopter and being met by Benoit Lévesque (Paul Gross).
As of now, no plot details for season 3 have been announced but we can anticipate more episodes that will not only show off the beautiful scenery of the island, but will also dig into some increasingly gritty cases.
