HBO‘s highly anticipated The White Lotus Season 4 has finally received a major update regarding the show’s current status. This comes more than a year after the award-winning series concluded its 8-episode third season.
What’s the update for The White Lotus Season 4?
HBO has announced that production on The White Lotus Season 4 has officially started in France on the French Riviera, where most of the new installment’s story will take place. It has also been confirmed that the cast and crew will also shoot in Paris, Cannes, St. Tropez, and Monaco. This is in line with a previous report that Season 4 would now be shooting in five-star hotels located in Paris and the French Riviera. This is different from the first three seasons, which were all filmed at a Four Seasons hotel.
Season 4 stars Helena Bonham Carter, Vincent Cassel, Steve Coogan, Caleb Jonte Edwards, Dylan Ennis, Corentin Fila, Ari Graynor, Marissa Long, Alexander Ludwig, Chris Messina, AJ Michalka, Kumail Nanjiani, and Nadia Tereszkiewicz. Additional cast also includes Chloe Bennet, Sandra Bernhard, Heather Graham, Max Greenfield, Frida Gustavsson, Charlie Hall, Jarrad Paul, Rosie Perez, Ben Schnetzer, and Laura Smet.
The award-winning series is created, written, and directed by Mike White (Enlightened), who is also serving as an executive producer alongside David Bernard, Mark Kamine, and Nick Hall. Since its debut in 2021, the show has maintained its Certified Fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes. However, Season 3 has now become the show’s lowest-rated installment, with a Tomatometer rating of 86%, based on 190 reviews. Season 3 scored one Emmy Award win out of 23 nominations for Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music.
