Cast members Sunita Rajwar and Jameel Khan have spoken publicly about TVF founder Arunabh Kumar, sharing their appreciation for him amid the ongoing run of Gullak Season 5. Both actors praised his humility and his ability to build and sustain a strong creative team.

Rajwar credited TVF and Kumar directly for her career resurgence. “I have always been very grateful to TVF because my growth as an actor and the recognition I receive today are all because of Gullak and Panchayat. I did Gullak first, and I will always owe my success to it. I can never think of anything against them because, apart from giving me success, they gave me a new life. They gave me an opportunity to start a new journey at a time when I was hopeless. They are amazing to me, and above all, they have always supported me,” she said.

She added, “And he is just as simple as he was when we started shooting for Gullak. If we want to meet him or talk to him, he is always there. It’s not as though success and time have changed him. TVF is like a family.”

Khan recalled a conversation with Kumar following a screening. “I think it was after the second or third season. After a screening, I told Arunabh, ‘We have really created a great team and a great property. Please don’t change it, try to retain it because we have a gold mine in our hands.’ He assured me not to worry and said that it would always remain good,” he said.

He added, “Over time, directors and writers changed, but the person at the helm of it all remained the same. There is something special about him, he knows how to build a team, and even when the team changes, he knows how to keep it together and nurture it. Arunabh understands that very well.”
