VisionQuest gets Disney+ release date
Marvel Televisionannouncedduring Disney’s 2026 Upfronts presentation that VisionQuest will debut on October 14, 2026, exclusively on Disney+. Paul Bettany revealed the premiere date during the event in New York City on Tuesday. The series marks his return as Vision, the beloved android and Avenger from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Additionally, James Spader will reprise his role as Ultron from 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. Disney also showed a trailer for advertisers and media buyers during the presentation. The footage hinted at how the series will connect to its two predecessors.
Meanwhile, Terry Matalas serves as showrunner for the upcoming series. He previously helmed Star Trek: Picard before taking on this project. VisionQuest will serve as the final installment in the WandaVision trilogy. The saga began with 2021’s WandaVision and continued with 2024’s Agatha All Along.
Furthermore, the series takes place after WandaVision, where Vision made a return following Thanos killing him in 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War. The show follows Vision as he attempts to reclaim his memory and humanity.
The cast also features several notable names alongside Bettany and Spader. Todd Stashwick portrays Paladin, a morally gray mercenary anti-hero who targets Vision’s technology. Faran Tahir returns as Raza, the Ten Rings leader first introduced in 2008’s Iron Man.
In addition, Lauren Morais and Diane Morgan recently joined the ensemble. Morais takes on the role of Lisa Molinari, a character with close ties to Ruaridh Mollica’s Thomas Shepherd. Morgan plays an associate of Stashwick’s Paladin. Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, James D’Arcy, Orla Brady, Emily Hampshire, and Mollica complete the cast.
