Nottingham Forest continue their build up to the Premier League season against Championship club Blackburn Rovers in Portugal on Wednesday.

New boss Oliver Glasner kicked off his reign with a 2-0 victory over local rivals Notts County in the Reds’ first friendly of the summer last Saturday.

Igor Jesus and Arnaud Kalimuendo scored either side of the break to seal the win ahead of their warm-weather training camp in the Algarve.

Blackburn also have a new manager ahead of the 2026/27, although it’s a familiar face in the dugout as Tony Mowbray has returned for a second spell.

Rovers kicked off their pre-season schedule with a goalless draw against Accrington Stanley before beating Barnsley 3-0 in a behind-closed-doors friendly last Saturday.
