Paraguay head into the match in winning form, however, after showing great resilience to hold on to a 1-0 lead over Turkey, despite playing half of the game with 10-men after Miguel Almiron was sent off for covering his mouth.
The absence of their leading scorer leaves Paraguay gaffer Gustavo Alfaro with a selection dilemma and while a draw would leave them in third, that might be enough to progress to the last-32 stage.
