Rangers continue their build-up to the new campaign by welcoming French outfit Saint-Etienne to Ibrox on Wednesday evening.

It’s been a summer of change for the Old Firm giants as former Hearts boss Derek McInnes has replaced Danny Röhl in the dugout and a string of new signings have arrived.

Scotland international striker Lawrence Shankland is the headline name after following McInnes from Tynecastle, while goalkeeper Ivor Pandur has joined from Premier League new boys Hull with Jack Butland heading in the opposite direction.

Rangers have already played four pre-season matches including draws against South African side Kaizer Chiefs and Malaysian champs Johor Darul Ta’zim during a recent training camp in Spain.

Saint-Etienne, who narrowly missed out on promotion to Ligue 1 last term, suffered a 1-0 defeat to Swiss side Servette in their second pre-season friendly last Saturday.
