The dust has not yet settled on the last Premier League season but already fans will be looking ahead to the upcoming campaign.

It feels a long way off, with a 48-team World Cup in Canada, Mexico, and the United States to contest with before attention can really shift back to domestic matters.
But a new Premier League dawn will be here before you know it and it looks set to be a thriller.
Reigning champions Arsenal will look to defend their first title in 22 years, with no shortage of challengers, including Man City as they adapt to life without Pep Guardiola.
A host of mid-table clubs will look to build on last term’s success and disrupt the status quo, while three new additions are coming up from the Championship.

When does the Premier League 2026/27 season start?
The Premier League 2026/27 season begins on the weekend of Saturday 22 August 2026.
The start of the campaign has been pushed back a week due to World Cup 2026.
In previous years, the curtain raiser has been played on a Friday evening but the new schedule has not yet been confirmed.
The campaign will run until the final day on Sunday 30 May 2027, when all 10 clubs will be in action.

When are the Premier League 2026/27 season fixtures released?
The Premier League fixtures for the 2026/27 season will be released at 10am on Friday 19 June 2026.
The upcoming campaign will consist of 33 weekends and five midweek rounds of matches.
