It’s all going wrong for the Brits at Wimbledon – with Jack Draper the latest home hope to pull out.

British No.1 Emma Raducanu announced late on Sunday evening that she had been forced to withdraw due to a stress fracture on her lower leg.
That was the end of a saga that had been rumbling on for a few days, but Draper’s news came as a shock to most after the 24-year-old looked so good in his return at Eastbourne.
The Brit made the semi-finals at the grass court event on the South Coast and looked ready to make his mark in SW19, where he’d been drawn against sixth seed Taylor Fritz in the first round.
Draper has never made it past the third round of Wimbledon but will have to wait to put that record right after this latest setback.
Radio Times brings you all the details about Jack Draper’s pulling out of Wimbledon 2026.
Why has Jack Draper pulled out of Wimbledon 2026?
Jack Draper has pulled out of Wimbledon due to a recurrence of the arm injury that has hampered him over the past year.
Draper said in a statement confirming the news: “Devastated to share that I have had to withdraw from my first round match due to a recurrence of my arm injury.
“There have been a lot of painful moments in the last 12 months but this one is definitely the absolute worst as there is no greater honour for a British player than playing at Wimbledon.
“I will continue to persevere through this. Thank you for the support!”
