Dreams will be realised and hearts will be broken as hundreds of hopefuls take to the grass for Wimbledon qualifying.

A total of 128 players will compete for 16 spots in each of the men’s and women’s draws in what is always a thrilling four days of tennis.
The successful few, who will have to win three rounds of matches, will join the 112 players, including wildcards, who already have a place in the men’s and women’s singles for Wimbledon 2026.
A host of Brits will be in action as well, including former British No.1 Dan Evans, who is set to retire after the grass grand slam, as they try to earn their spot at the Championships this year.

When is Wimbledon 2026 qualifying?
Wimbledon qualifying begins on Monday 22 June 2026.
It will draw to a close with the final round of qualifiers on Thursday 25 June 2026.
How to watch Wimbledon 2026 qualifying on TV and live stream
Wimbledon qualifying is broadcast live on the BBC from 11am on each day of the competition.
Live matches will air on BBC iPlayer, so you can keep track of the outsiders hoping for a shot at glory.
Viewers can soak up all the main action featuring the biggest names in the qualifiers via a range of devices, from smart TVs to laptops to mobile devices, as long as they are compatible with iPlayer.
Where is Wimbledon 2026 qualifying held?
Wimbledon qualifying is not actually held at Wimbledon in order to preserve the grass courts at SW19 for the tournament itself.
Qualifying takes place at the Community Sport Centre in Roehampton, on the outskirts of London.
