In the latest episode of The Young and the Restless, the death of Matt Clark, played by Roger Howarth, takes place. However, it is hard to believe it actually happened, especially because of several loopholes the soap opera has intentionally kept in the sequence. So, is Matt really dead, or is he gearing up for another comeback soon?

Is Matt dead or alive in The Young and the Restless?
In the latest episode of The Young and the Restless, several major events took place, including the death of Matt Clark. He set off a bomb intended for Nick, Adam, Sharon, and Noah Newman at the Las Vegas gas station, but all four intended targets walked out alive from the plot.
But something drastic happened between Sienna and Matt. At the end of the chaotic event, Sienna arrived at the hotel claiming she had killed Matt to end his villainous schemes. While the former insists that the latter is dead, several things point to the contrary.
For one, Matt’s dead body is not shown. This has always been a warning sign in soap operas. Mostly, the characters whose dead bodies are not shown find a way to survive and make a comeback in the future.
Another big sign is that it is only Sienna who seems to know for sure that Matt is dead. As fans may remember, Sienna previously pleaded with Matt to run away with her and leave the Newmans alone.
So, perhaps Sienna’s confrontation with Matt in the wake of the gas station blast could have ended with the former gaining the upper hand and ordering him to run away. It seems unlikely that she would be able to kill Matt despite all that he has done.
With these warning signs in place, fans are not yet ready to believe that Matt is really dead. If the upcoming episodes of Young and Restless give some concrete proof that Clark is gone, then fans will believe it. Otherwise, the possibility of his return remains.
