There’s glass smashed across the floor, blood is splattered over the tablecloth, and a chair is upside down on the other side of the room – it’s just your typical dinner party with the residents of Coronation Street.

But how did a seemingly innocent meal turn so sour?
Just like a game of The Traitors, a suspicious Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) and Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) channel their inner Claudia Winkleman, circling the table to try and determine whether their respective partners, Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) and Gary Windass (Mikey North), have been unfaithful.
When the conversation turns to Theo’s Silverton (James Cartwright) murder, which makes for a rather awkward digestif given Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) and Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) have joined the party, a series of flashbacks threatens to expose secrets and lies. Who killed Theo?
Elsewhere, Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) finds himself in a predicament, there’s sad news regarding Sam Blakeman’s (Jude Riordan) recovery, and Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances Brown) appears to have found herself a new fella.

7 Coronation Street spoilers for next week
1. A dinner party turns hellish – revealing who killed Theo Silverton

A dramatic flashforward opens the week at Kit and Sarah’s flat, where the aftermath of a seemingly disastrous dinner party is revealed. Broken glass litters the floor, a chair has been overturned, and there are blood stains on the tablecloth, raising one huge question: what happened?
Rewinding to earlier events, Kit reminds Sarah about their planned date night and suggests they pick up supplies together during their lunch break. However, his plans are thrown into disarray when she suddenly cancels.
Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) can’t resist winding him up, suggesting Sarah may have found better company, while Maria overhears the exchange and starts putting pieces together.

Later, as Sarah leaves the builders’ yard, a watchful Kit follows her movements with growing suspicion. In the Rovers, she invites Todd and Summer to join her for dinner, much to Kit’s disappointment. But when he catches her sharing a private conversation with Gary, he decides to expand the guest list further by inviting him and Maria along too.
The suggestion leaves Gary and Sarah visibly uncomfortable, while Maria readily accepts.
As the evening gets underway, tensions simmer beneath the surface. Maria takes several pointed swipes at Sarah, while Kit repeatedly attempts to get Gary alone, making loaded comments about dishonesty and hidden truths.

The gathering then erupts into chaos when Maria raises a toast and publicly accuses Gary and Sarah of conducting a secret affair for weeks.
The revelation leaves the room stunned. As tempers flare and accusations fly, a series of shocking flashbacks begin to reveal what really happened behind closed doors.
We then finally learn who killed Theo Silverton.

The following day, the fallout continues as Maria freezes Gary out after the explosive revelations. Meanwhile, Sarah makes a startling discovery when she finds a ring box hidden inside Kit’s bag. Her mind races, but before she can investigate further, he appears unexpectedly.
Seeking escape, Sarah heads to the Rovers and drinks heavily. Brothers Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) and David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) are alarmed by her state, while Jodie attempts to explain her behaviour by referring to the recent attack. However, when she accidentally reveals that David the dog was barking at the time, Sarah becomes suspicious.
2. Todd Grimshaw searches for the truth

Todd visits Sarah and admits he believes there’s far more to the situation involving her and Gary than anyone is admitting.
Meanwhile, Gary openly taunts Kit, pointing out that he has no concrete evidence against him. Later, Gary assures Todd there is no affair, insisting that Sarah simply trusts him and that Kit’s jealousy is driving his obsession with pinning Theo’s murder on him.
The conversation leaves Todd with even more questions. Determined to get answers, he confronts Sarah directly and wonders whether Gary knows more about Theo’s death than he’s letting on.

Later in the week, Todd leans on George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) for support before finally reaching the breaking point. In an emotional confession, he admits he’s never felt lonelier.
Concerned for his well-being, George and Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins) urge him to move into No. 11.
3. Fiona Morley blackmails Ronnie Bailey

Ronnie meets Fiona Morley (Sara Poyzer) and explains that while he has no idea where the missing gun is, he’s prepared to pay her off if it helps ease his wife Debbie’s (Sue Devaney) worries.
But Fiona has other ideas. Making it clear she’s not interested in money, Fiona suggests Ronnie can repay her in a very different way, leaving him visibly shaken.
Later, he reassures Debbie that Fiona has been dealt with and won’t be causing any further problems, allowing her to rest. However, he soon confides in Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) and reveals the truth about Fiona’s demands.
4. Sam Blakeman’s recovery hits a setback

Roy Cropper (David Neilson) pays Sam a visit in the mental health hospital and reassures him that the recent incident at the café is firmly in the past.
Hoping to lift his spirits, he suggests a game of chess, and Nick is delighted to see Sam engaging once again. However, his optimism quickly fades when Sam makes an unusually basic mistake and loses the game.
Sam’s reaction immediately sets alarm bells ringing for Nick, who fears his son may not be recovering as well as everyone hoped.

With Will Driscoll’s (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) day in court fast approaching, tensions within the Rovers reach boiling point as dad Ben (Aaron McCusker), Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley), grandmother Maggie (Pauline McLynn), and mum Melanie (Cindy Humphrey) clash over whether he should attend in person or remotely.
Feeling ignored and unheard, Will quietly slips away and opens up to Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine), admitting that nobody has even bothered asking what he wants.
Determined to stand up for him, he takes Will back to the Rovers and bluntly tells the family that it’s time they started listening.

Later, Susie Price (Aurora Bradshaw) powers up her brother’s games console and logs into an account belonging to a player called Minimog16. To her astonishment, she suddenly hears Megan Walsh’s (Beth Nixon) voice through the headset. But the moment Susie identifies herself, the player immediately disconnects.
When Susie shares what happened, Ollie Driscoll (Raphael Akuwudike) and Maggie rush to find Will still chatting online.
Convinced Megan is continuing to influence him, Ollie warns that she’s clearly manipulating Will ahead of the trial. With the hearing now only days away, can Megan still get inside Will’s head?
6. Dev Alahan is unsettled by Asha’s new beginning with Nina Lucas
When Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) offers his daughter Asha (Tanisha Gorey), Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) and Summer some money to redecorate the corner shop flat, Asha spots an opportunity and suggests renting it herself.
Dev is quick to point out that she can’t afford the place alone, but Nina surprises everyone by offering to move in with her. Dev is devastated when it becomes clear that his daughter was serious about moving out, while Nina struggles with how to break some important news to Roy.

The proposal leaves Dev with a decision to make.
Later, Summer and Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) help the pair settle into their new surroundings. As Summer presents a pile of housewarming gifts and jokes that treating her friends to dinner is the best possible use of late dad Billy’s money, the emotional gesture leaves the group deeply touched.
7. Jodie Ramsey eyes up Ryan Connor – but is she being sincere?

Jodie finds herself tasked with creating a Tin Man costume for Harry Platt’s (Joshua Leavy) school play, but her attention soon turns elsewhere when she begins browsing a dating app.
One particular profile catches her eye and leaves her amused enough to hit the ‘like’ button.
Before long, Jodie announces that she has landed herself a date. When David casually reveals he’ll be meeting Nick at the Bistro, she quickly sees an opportunity.
That evening, she meets her date – Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) – at the restaurant and wastes no time turning on the charm. With David nearby, Jodie appears determined to make him jealous.
