Crunchyroll is allowing fans to stream Solo Leveling for free
The streaming platform recently announced the plans for its Ani-May 2026 event, and based on that, the Solo Leveling anime is now free to stream. However, the catch is that fans will only have until Saturday to watch it for free.
The Ani-May 2026 event is divided into weeks, with Week 1 dedicated to the action genre and commencing on May 2. Solo Leveling will be part of a watch party on YouTube. In this, the anime’s episodes will stream alongside other action anime like Black Clover, Wistoria: Wand and Sword, Hell’s Paradise, and Sentenced to Be a Hero.
Sharing more information about the watch parties, Crunchyroll stated, “From weekly global YouTube watch parties to Crunchyroll’s first-ever 7-day anime marathon on Twitch in the #special-events category, plus the Crunchyroll Anime Awards on TikTok featuring The Weeknd, Winston Duke, RZA, and more, creator streams, and fan-driven content — anime shows up all over the internet all month long.”
Moreover, apart from anime, the Ani-May 2026 event will focus on gaming, retail, music collaborations, and upcoming streaming debuts.
The other weeks announced by Crunchyroll are: Week 2 for sports anime, starting May 9; Week 3 for Isekai (another world) anime, starting May 16; Week 4 for Shojo anime, starting May 23; and Week 5 for Catalog gems, starting May 30.
