Airing on May 8, 2026, We Bury the Dead follows Ridley’s Ava Newman through Tasmania as she searches for her husband after a U.S. military weapon kills half a million. With some of the dead reanimating into moving, decaying figures, she joins a recovery unit in this grief-driven indie drama.
Also starring in the 2024/2026 post-apocalyptic thriller are Brenton Thwaites as Clay, Mark Coles Smith as Riley, and Matt Whelan as Ava’s husband, Mitch. The film is written and directed by Zak Hilditch, known for These Final Hours. It recorded an 88% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Drama lovers can binge Made in Chelsea: Complete Seasons 6–15 on Hulu on May 6, 2026. Covering 2013 to 2018, the series tracks pivotal moments including the fallout between Louise and Andy, Jamie and Phoebe’s romance, and the arrival of new cast members.
