Dinner with a Vampire is a 1989 Italian horror-comedy film directed by Lamberto Bava and written by Dardano Sacchetti. It was produced as the fourth and final entry in the Brivido Giallo (“Yellow Thrill”) film series for Italian television.
The movie stars George Hilton, Patrizia Pellegrino, Riccardo Rossi, Yvonne Sciò and Valeria Milillo.

Plot:
Four aspiring young performers — a singer, an actress, a dancer, and a comedian — win an audition for a new horror film. They are invited to the lavish castle of the reclusive and legendary horror director Jurek (played by Spaghetti Western and Giallo star George Hilton).

During a macabre dinner, Jurek reveals his true nature: he is a 1,000-year-old vampire who has grown bored with his eternal existence. He challenges his guests to a survival game: they must find a way to kill him before dawn, or they will become his next victims…

The film is known for its tongue-in-cheek tone, poking fun at vampire tropes and featuring a hunchbacked assistant named Gilles who resembles Marty Feldman’s Igor.
