It looks like heartache is on the way for Suki and Eve Panesar-Unwin in EastEnders.
The BBC soap has confirmed fresh troubles are on the way for the couple as they return to the spotlight after a quiet few months, as the long-running story of their quest to become parents through adoption continues.
In the weeks ahead, Suki (Balvinder Sopal) is also set to face issues with her youngest son, Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota), who they both think is set to become a father with pregnant girlfriend Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine).
Additionally, it seems Suki will once again be at loggerheads with Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington), who fans know will be the true biological grandmother of Penny’s child. We wouldn’t want to mess with either matriarch – and Suki could return to her darker side any day now.
As Suki and her beloved wife Eve (Heather Peace) prepare for their long-awaited adoption hearing later in the week, heartbreak is on the cards for the pair as the episode synopses have teased that their happiness is short-lived…

So, it seems the other big story of the week continues to be the antics of unhinged Bea Pollard (Ronni Ancona) as she seems to tear apart her trusting friend Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) and Honey’s distrustful husband Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick).
Just what is up Bea’s sleeve, and is she about to succeed in breaking one of Walford’s most loved couples?
At least it seems Billy has cousin Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) on his side!
Elsewhere, the Fox-Truemans are set to face more bad news, but does this relate to injured Jordan Fox (Jahsaiah Williams) or the blood cancer story concerning Denise Fox (Diane Parish)?
