Anything less than a victory against Ghana tonight will feel like a disappointment for England.

The Three Lions head into their second World Cup 2026 fixture sitting top of Group L and knowing that there more points will see them through to the round of 32.
But after they turned heads with their attacking approach against Croatia, fans will expect England to get the job done in style against the Black Stars.

The players will not underestimate Ghana, who have some serious quality in their ranks, while given the African side’s strength is in attack and not defence, Tuesday’s meeting in Boston could well be another goalfest.
But how exactly will each side approach it? And what will the final result be?

England v Ghana predictions
England made it clear they are going to attack World Cup 2026 and we can expect to see another swashbuckling display against the Black Stars, which should mean another high-scoring contest.
Ghana, meanwhile, are likely to take a more conservative approach but will feel they have the players to capitalise on what is by no means a bulletproof Three Lions defence.
Though they may get the ball into Jordan Pickford’s net once, it won’t be enough to stop Tuchel’s side claiming all three points.
Radio Times says… England 4-1 Ghana
