Farah Khan recently visited the Mumbai home of Aparshakti Khurana and his wife Aakriti Khurana for her latest vlog. Accompanied by her cook Dilip, Farah explored the couple’s residence and shared her reactions to its distinctive interiors.

The vlog began with a house tour, during which Farah described the décor as a mix of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s grand visual style and Om Shanti Om aesthetics. As Farah Khan pointed out at the door, Aparshakti revealed, “This wooden door was burnt after painting it; the fire gave it the aesthetic.”

Another striking design element was the unfinished vintage look of the walls and ceiling. Instead of painting them in standard tones, the couple retained a distressed artistic texture. Farah noted that such interiors are currently in trend.

At the entrance, Aparshakti also explained the design of their wooden front door. He revealed that the door was deliberately burnt after being painted to create its final look, saying the fire treatment gave it a unique aesthetic finish.

The vlog also showcased a hallway decorated in muted cream and beige tones. Childhood photographs of the family were displayed in frames along the corridor, adding a personal and nostalgic touch to the space.

As the tour continued, Aparshakti and Aakriti showed Farah other parts of the house, including a makeup room and a multi-purpose area used by the actor for reading, workouts and getting ready.

During the visit, Farah also recalled first meeting Aparshakti when he was working as a radio jockey. She said, “I went to promote Om Shanti Om with Deepika on a radio channel, that’s when I met him for the first time. When he was about to come in films, I used to think about how an RJ will venture into acting, but he has done so well.”

The vlog concluded with Farah sharing a meal with Aparshakti and Aakriti at their dining table and presenting gifts to the hosts.
