ComingSoon recently got to check out two of the latest additions to the Funko family, which now allow you to expand your collection past the Funko Pops that feature our favorite pop culture characters and brands. Bitty City allows you to show off your Bitty Pop collection and create your own town filled with shops and adorable tiny figures, while Blonks are a new blind-box addition of adorable vinyl figures that don’t adhere to the standard Funko Pop look.

Bitty City is filled with charm
I was able to check out a few of the Bitty City starter sets: the New York Edition Land and New York Edition Road packs, plus the Towns 3-Pack with Funko HQ, Loungefly Boutique, and Mondo Arcade shops. They’re all adorable, as they allow you to construct your own little city that holds Bitty Pops (this is particularly great if you already have some of these, as you can use them to populate your city).
Construction is quite easy, and it was really fun having them interact with vehicles, like the firetruck in the sixth picture. There’s a nice variety of packs already available, plus an awesome amusement park, so hopefully this will continue to expand as more options will allow for greater creativity in the future. This is a great addition to the Funko family and gives you a lot more use for any Bitty Pops you might already have as you can make your own themed areas.

Blonks are great figures in blind boxes
Another new addition to the Funko lineup is Blonks, which is a new line of premium blind box vinyl figures. As you can tell from the image above, these don’t follow the standard Funko Pop design. The first line is titled Animal Afternoon and features several different animal figures (plus Freddy Funko, of course), which come on a cute little stand that can be removed.
I really loved the designs of these 4-inch figures (especially the platypus), which were done by artist Sad Salesman. However, these are premium blind boxes that run $15.99, so the prospect of paying that much and getting a duplicate is certainly discouraging if you’re not willing to trade with friends or resell. So, while I recommend these figures, people will have to decide what risk they’re willing to take with the blind-box release strategy.

Disclosure: ComingSoon received product from Funko for our Funko Bitty City and Blonks feature.
