A 2018 Hallmark movie has been dominating a free streaming platform’s charts, surpassing a sports epic featuring Sylvester Stallone. Although it has been eight years since the movie premiered on Hallmark, streaming audiences have given it a new life this week.

The Beach House tops Tubi charts
According to FlixPatrol’s data for May 5, 2026, Hallmark’s The Beach House is the #1 movie on Tubi’s Top 10 list in the United States. With this, the movie has taken over Creed II and Creed, which currently sit at #2 and #4, respectively.
The list also includes the 1987 classic horror Hellraiser at #3. It is followed by John Candy’s Armed and Dangerous at #5, Kevin Costner’s The Guardian at #6, and Dudley Moore’s Arthur at #7.
The Beach House is based on Mary Alice Monroe’s 2002 book of the same name. Roger Spottiswoode directed the movie with a screenplay by Maria Nation. Its cast features Chad Michael Murray as Brett, Minka Kelly as Cara, Andie MacDowell as Lovie, Makenzie Vega as Toy, and Donna Biscoe as Flo, among others.
The story centers on Cara. She is a young woman whose life is disrupted after losing her job at an advertising company in Chicago. At the urging of her mother, Lovie, Cara returns to her family’s beach house in South Carolina.
There, she confronts her strained relationship with her family, who are trying to sell the beach house. Her plan was to stay for a short time. However, she eventually rebuilds her relationships and even helps her mother protect endangered sea turtles.
The Beach House was a straight-to-television release and premiered on Hallmark Channel on April 28, 2018. It received a mixed reception and currently has a 60% user rating on Rotten Tomatoes. A few months after the premiere, the movie became available to stream on August 7, 2018. Apart from Tubi, it is also streaming on Hallmark+.
